Biography
Dr Shiraz Thobani undertook his graduate studies at the Institute of Education, University of London, before pursuing his doctorate in Education at the University of Cambridge. Dr Thobani currently holds the position of Research Associate in the Institute's Department of Education. He has been involved in the Institute's international programmes on primary and secondary education which approach Islam from a humanistic and civilisational perspective. As part of this endeavour, Dr Thobani has contributed, in an advisory and consultancy capacity, to programmes on teacher education and evaluation, conferences on educational planning and policy, and field studies in selected regions of the world.
