The IIS continues to follow UK government guidelines on work and study during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our number one priority is ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff and students.
The Aga Khan Centre (AKC) is currently only accessible for essential maintenance issues and to enable employees to collect resources or do essential tasks which cannot be carried out without gaining physical access to the building. This guidance will be reviewed on April 12th.
The AKC building management team are working hard to make the AKC a safe place to work and study in. For those who do need to attend the AKC during this time, there is a Hikvision temperature camera and a registered QR code situated in reception. Masks should be be worn when moving around the building or in classes but are not required while seated at a desk. There are various safety measures in place throughout the building, including hand sanitisers, signage regarding social distancing, and Perspex screens to protect those at open plan desks and on reception.
