The IIS is pleased to announce the publication of a new edition and English translation of Abu ‘Ali Mansur al-‘Azizi al-Jawdhari’s biography of al-Ustadh Jawdhar, the Sirat al-Ustadh Jawdhar, under the title Inside the Immaculate Portal: A History from Early Fatimid Archives.

"An important part of the lecture was dedicated to the Qur’anic text. The Qur’aninfo-icon constitutes both an object of study and source material. Various sources are used in order to reconstruct the history of the Qur’anic text: epigraphic sources, manuscripts as well as later narratives".
