Maria Bada
Digital Delivery Manager

Introduction

Maria will be leading forward the current and future strategic implementation for the IIS digital products and services, strengthening our digital reputation and presence.

 

In particular she will undertake key digital redesign and development projects, including the IIS Website and Intranet, the Aga Khaninfo-icon Centre Website and Aga Khan Library Website.

 

In addition, Maria will lead the research and implementation of an IIS Customer (Donor) Record Management system and Marketing Databases as well as an Asset Bank, and will advise on social media channels strategy and development.

 

Relevant Experience

 

Maria developed her successful career into digital management with projects from community engagement and content strategy to production planning and platforms development.

 

Maria participated and led strategic, forward-thinking digital initiatives, with over eighteen years working across corporate, academic and charity organisations such as Google, Kaplan International, the Bank Workers Charity, Garden Organic, Hostelbookers, the European Association of Dance Historians, Birds&Birds, Università' “GdA’ di Chieti-Pescara (Italy).

 

She is very passionate about sustainability, education, social and digital innovation.

 

Education

Maria comes from a strong academic background as a Researcher in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies with an international award-winning PhD thesis on the Slavomolisano dialect.

During the academic tenure, she also held a Professorship in ‘Applied Informatics for Arts and Humanities’ and worked as an Italian Lecturer and a Senior Coordinator Researcher for digital pilot projects on Minority Languages education for the Italian Ministry of Education and University (MIUR) and educational regional agencies (IRRE).
