Our vision and strategy
Approved by the IIS Board and developed under the leadership of the Director, the IIS Strategic plan (2025-2035) sets out our commitment to advancing Islamic and Ismaili scholarship while deepening our service to the global Ismaili community. Over the next decade, we will focus on research, education, heritage preservation and digital innovation, guided by our values and the evolving needs of our stakeholders.
Our guiding values and principles
With a view to sustaining a vibrant intellectual community at the forefront of knowledge production, the IIS has been guided by the following values and principles:
- Adherence to the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all our endeavours, staff relations and organisational management as well as in our interactions with external individuals and agencies.
