Refund Policy (eBooks and audiobooks)
Due to the nature of digital content, once you have successfully downloaded an eBook (electronic book) or audiobook from our website, we are unable to offer a refund on your purchase.
If you encounter any issues with your download or believe there has been an error, please contact our customer support team at bookshop@iis.ac.uk. However, in exceptional cases, such as technical issues preventing access to the content, we may consider a refund upon review.
Refund Eligibility, Conditions and Proccess
Refunds for eBooks and audiobooks are only considered under the following conditions:
- The product is defective or cannot be accessed using the instructions provided.
- The wrong product was purchased accidentally.
- All refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase.
- Refunds for mistaken purchases will only be granted if the eBook or audiobook has not been accessed or downloaded.
- If the product is defective or inaccessible, detailed information about the issue must be provided for investigation.
- You have not previously returned the same product from a prior purchase.
If you experience issues with downloading or accessing your purchase, we are happy to assist in resolving the problem. If we are unable to rectify the issue, a refund may be issued at our discretion.
To request a refund, please contact our customer support team at bookshop@iis.ac.uk with the following details:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Confirmation that the product has not been downloaded or accessed (if requesting for mistaken purchase)
If you have purchased an eBook or audiobook from another vendor, you must contact them directly to request a refund. We are only able to refund purchases made from iis.ac.uk/shop.
Once your refund request has been reviewed and approved, a credit adjustment will be made to the credit or debit card account used as payment for the original order. Please allow two weeks for the adjustment to appear in your account.
IIS reserves the right to refuse to sell or to provide refunds to any person for any reason not prohibited by law, including, but not limited to, abuse of its return policy.
Refunds will not be issued for eBooks or audiobooks that have been accessed or downloaded, as these are considered consumed upon access. Additionally, repeated refund requests for similar issues, instances of policy abuse, or non-compliance with this refund policy may result in a refusal of future refund requests.
