Constituency Studies Unit
The CSU undertook research arising from directives of our Board of Governors. We developed strategic reports on each of our research projects, and informed and educated identified stakeholders on their key findings through educational programmes undertaken by the Departments of Graduate Studies and Community Relations.
We engaged with and published for the Ismaili community on areas where we had developed an advanced understanding through our research activities.
Our Research
The CSU worked on a number of contemporary issues of relevance to the Ismaili community. These included reports on Muslim spaces of worship and gathering, Muslim religious rituals and practices, authority in Muslim contexts, Occidentalisation and its impact on values, Muslim biomedical ethics, and Muslim environmental ethics.
