After completing a diploma in Mathematics and Physics as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering in Iran, Farzad joined the Institute’s Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH) in 2007.  He earned an MSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2010 and, since then, has worked with the IIS in a number of capacities. Currently, he is the Academic Coordinator for the International Training Programme in Persian, implemented by the Department of Community Relations.
