Prof Jiwa is working on a monograph on the life and times of the fifth Fatimid Imam-Caliph al-Aziz billah, situating the FatimidsMajor Muslim dynasty of Ismaili caliphs in North Africa (from 909) and later in Egypt (973–1171) More as part of the medieval Mediterranean world. She is also working on several academic articles related to Fatimid studies.
