Emily Turner is Tours Programme Officer at the Aga Khan Centre. She leads the development and delivery of the Centre’s tours and school visits, overseeing promotion, bookings and the coordination of a team of volunteer tour guides.
Emily comes from a background in education (in and out of the classroom) and visitor attractions. Since joining the Aga Khan Centre, she has expanded the number and range of tours available and developed a structured primary school programme. Through this programme, local pupils engage with key themes in Islamic art and design in an accessible and interactive way.
