Biography
Emine Epru is an Executive Assistant at the Institute of Ismaili Studies, supporting Executive leadership and the People & Culture function.
Her role covers executive support, recruitment coordination, HR administration, employee onboarding, process improvement, and compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies. She works closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the Institute on day-to-day operations and internal processes.
Emine has more than 19 years’ experience in executive and operational support across the public, private and charitable sectors, including diary and inbox management, meeting and event coordination, domestic and international travel, executive briefings, and stakeholder liaison.
Before joining IIS, she spent almost 17 years at the Metropolitan Police Service, 10 of them supporting C-suite executives and senior leaders. There she managed complex diaries, coordinated national meetings and events, arranged travel, prepared executive briefings and supported senior decision-making during critical operational periods, working regularly with government officials, external partners and senior leadership teams. She has substantial experience in event management, and subsequently worked in the private sector as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager.
