Gus leads the Information Technology team at the Institute, where he is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining the Institute’s enterprise-level IT infrastructure. His role encompasses oversight of core network systems, server architecture, cybersecurity protocols, cloud services integration, and end-user support for both faculty and students.
With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Gus brings deep expertise in infrastructure design, systems administration, and cross-platform integration. He manages a comprehensive IT support framework, including service desk operations, endpoint management, and software deployment strategies across diverse computing environments.
Gus also serves as the central coordinator for Institute-wide IT initiatives, collaborating with academic and administrative departments to align technology solutions with institutional objectives. He leads multi-phase projects involving infrastructure upgrades, virtualisation, disaster recovery planning, and the implementation of scalable technologies to support growth and innovation.
