In her current role at the Aga KhanA title granted by the Shah of Persia to the then Ismaili Imam in 1818 and inherited by each of his successors to the Imamate. Library, Julie Feiler assists with the management and troubleshooting of the Koha library system and EDS discovery service, as well as electronic resources. She also supports digitisation and digital preservation projects, and promotes library resources to increase usage across departments.
Julie is an experienced, Chartered librarian with a background in higher education and specialist libraries. She holds an MSc in Library and Information Studies from City University. Julie’s most recent position was at Leo Baeck College, where she managed daily operational aspects and catalogued Europe’s largest Jewish music collection.
Before moving into librarianship, Julie earned a Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University and worked in graphic design for both multinational corporations and boutique firms.
