Rizwan Karim coordinates the IIS's Oral History Project, which aims to record, preserve in a digital repository, and present the memories, experiences and stories of the diverse Ismaili community across the globe.

Rizwan is from Hunza, Pakistan. He is a 2016 GPISH graduate with a master's degree in Development Planning from University College London. He worked with Ismaili community institutions in Pakistan for over four years in research, training and development after completing GPISH. He has also worked in policy development and programme management of poverty alleviation projects in the Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions of Pakistan.

Rizwan's interests include social anthropology, life stories and youth studies.
