Biography
Naushin Premji is Academic Projects and Events Manager in the Department of Academic Research, with responsibility for academic projects and the development and delivery of academic events.
Naushin joined the Institute in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Surrey and an MSc in Management (distinction) from Birkbeck, University of London. Her Master’s dissertation on academic management received one of the highest marks in her cohort and was included in Birkbeck’s Best Dissertation Database.
She works across the Department of Academic Research and Qur’anic Studies, supporting a wide range of projects. Her role involves cross-departmental coordination, administrative support and project management, and acting as a key point of contact for external contractors. She also provides managerial oversight for the Qur’anic Studies Publication Series and leads the programme and logistics for academic lectures, workshops, international conferences and book launches.
