The CSU undertakes research arising from directives of our Board of Governors. We develop strategic reports on each of our research projects, and inform and educate identified stakeholders on their key findings through educational programmes undertaken by the Departments of Graduate Studies and Community Relations.
We engage with and publish for the Ismaili community on areas where we have developed an advanced understanding through our research activities.
The CSU is working on a number of contemporary issues of relevance to the Ismaili community. These include reports on Muslim spaces of worship and gathering, Muslim religious rituals and practices, authority in Muslim contexts, Occidentalisation and its impact on values, Muslim biomedical ethics, and Muslim environmental ethics.
