Qur’anic Studies

The Qur’anic Studies Unit promotes our knowledge of the intellectual history of the Qur’an through research and publication. It is part of the IIS’s Department of Academic Research and Publications. The IIS embarked on Qur’anic studies in 2000 with a view to promoting scholarship on the plurality of traditions that were inspired by the Qur’an and developed throughout Muslim history up to the present time.
