The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its Dissertation Writing Scholarship. The deadline to apply is 30 September 2025.

The IIS welcomes applications from graduate students in the field of Islamic studies who are researching an Ismaili topic. The scholarship carries a stipend of £3,000 (or local equivalent) and has been established to assist promising graduate research students and doctoral candidates to complete their fieldwork or dissertation.

Special attention will be given to topics related to Ismaili studies, Shiʿi studies, Qur’anic studies, Education, and Manuscript studies.
