Khalid Ansari is Digital Content Coordinator in the Office of Communications and Development. He is a GPISH graduate (Class of 2024) and holds an MA in Digital Asset and Media Management from King’s College London.
Before joining the IIS, Khalid worked at WaterAid UK as a Digital Asset Officer, where his role included data cleaning, metadata management, taxonomy development, and training staff on a new Digital Asset Management platform. He led the migration of over 1.7 million assets from a legacy DAM system to Orange Logic and worked closely with the Creative Content, Digital, and Website teams to improve digital content workflows and operational efficiency across WaterAid teams in 24 countries
Previously, Khalid interned with the Ismaili Special Collections Unit at the IIS as a Digital Archivist, where he worked on oral history transcripts, image cataloguing, and the digitisation and ingestion of archival materials.
