All major civilisations of the world have cultivated a philosophical tradition, but only a few have had a continuous tradition with surviving texts. Persia is home to one such civilisation with continuity of philosophical thought for more than two-and-a-half millennia. Dr Aminrazavi has been involved with the Anthology project with Professor Hossein Nasrsince its early stages. In this interview, he elaborates on the development of philosophical thought in Muslim lands through different eras and on the emergence of particular terms and concepts in different contexts.
