Khalid Ansari is Digital Content Coordinator in the Office of Communications and Development. He is a GPISH graduate (Class of 2024) and holds an MA in Digital Asset and Media Management from King’s College London.
In his role at IIS, he works with digital content from internal and external stakeholders across the Institute’s website and social and digital channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. He supports the digital presentation and promotion of IIS research outputs, events, conferences, and public programmes, contributing to the Institute’s wider communications and digital marketing activity.

Before joining IIS, Khalid worked at WaterAid UK, where he supported large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global teams. His work focused on metadata strategy, taxonomy development, and digital asset governance, including contributing to the successful migration of over 1.7 million assets to a new DAM platform. He collaborated closely with creative, digital, and web teams to strengthen workflows, improve content accessibility, and support consistent use of digital assets across WaterAid’s international network.
