Biography
Khalid Ansari is Digital Content Coordinator in the Office of Communications and Development at The Institute of Ismaili Studies.
He works with digital content from internal and external stakeholders across the Institute’s website and its social and digital channels, including IIS website, YouTube channel, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. His work supports the digital presentation and promotion of IIS research outputs, events, conferences, and public programmes, and contributes to the Institute’s wider communications and digital marketing activity.
An IIS alumnus, Khalid completed the Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH) in the Class of 2024, and holds an MA in Digital Asset and Media Management from King’s College London.
Before joining IIS, Khalid worked at WaterAid UK, supporting large-scale digital transformation across global teams. His work there focused on metadata strategy, taxonomy development, and digital asset governance, including the migration of over 1.7 million assets to a new digital asset management platform. He worked with creative, digital, and web teams on workflow development, content accessibility, and consistent use of digital assets across WaterAid’s international network.
