Resham Pirzada

Resham supports internal communications and the maintenance of the IIS Intranet, as well as donor engagement activities, including events and gift distributions. She also provides organisational and programmatic support for a range of onsite and offsite programmes and oversees financial administration related to the OCD’s team activities.

Previously, Resham worked at SOAS, University of London, as a Research Assistant on the Influencing Corridors of Power (ICOP) project, where she organised panel events on policy and human rights issues at SOAS and in Westminster. Prior to this, she was a Programmes Fellow at One Young World, managing scholarship and grant programmes and supporting the organisation’s annual international youth summit.

Resham graduated with a BA in International Relations from SOAS, with a focus on decolonial studies and South Asia.
