Biography

Shameer Ali Prasla is Digital Education Officer at the Institute. He supports the development and rollout of the IIS Digital Curriculum platform and collaborates with Taʿlim Universe teams to produce digital content that enhances the curriculum’s overall offering.

Shameer is a graduate of the inaugural cohort of the Secondary Teacher Education Programme (STEP) and previously served with ITREB Pakistan. Before joining the Institute, he worked as an environmental education consultant with WWF-Pakistan and IUCN-Pakistan, contributing to national conservation and awareness initiatives. He later completed a degree in education with a focus on learning technology at the University of Turku in Finland, where he also collaborated with EdTech companies on digital learning solutions.

In his current role, he works with ITREBs and Taʿlim Universe teams to develop and maintain the IIS Digital Curriculum platform. He also serves as an academic advisor, supporting pre-service STEP teachers in their teaching practice through classroom observation and mentoring.
