Maha Yaziji is Associate Programme Developer (Adult Education) in the Department of Education at The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS). She works with the HRDJ team to design and develop adult education programmes, learning activities and resources for Ismaili community institutions around the world.
Maha previously worked with the Aga KhanA title granted by the Shah of Persia to the then Ismaili Imam in 1818 and inherited by each of his successors to the Imamate. Education Services (AKES) in Syria and Tajikistan. She also spent nearly eleven years in the IIS Constituency Studies Unit, first as a Research Officer and later as an Education Officer. In that role she contributed to research projects on modern Syrian Ismaili history, Muslim religious practices and Muslim spaces of worship.
